The Diploma in Management of Food and Beverage Operations, or Diploma in F&B programme is for aspiring F&B Professionals with a passion to deepen knowledge and skillsets in F&B service industry, and to pursue global careers. Through this programme, we aim to prepare learners for career advancement opportunities in the fast-growing F&B industry and equip learners with advanced knowledge and skillsets in F&B management. Learners who wish to obtain this food and beverage certificate will be taught about managing F&B operations, designing restaurant concepts, and, optimising and managing sales, amongst others.


Course Duration : 

1. Full-time: 7 months

    Total Contact hours: 180 (No breaks between exams and modules)

    Week Schedule: 5 days per week (3 hrs per day)

2. Part-time: 7 months

    Total Contact hours: 180 (No breaks between exams and modules)

    Weekend: 1 Sunday (8 hrs class)

Mode Of Assessment : Written Exam, Assignment/Projects

Entry qualification :  

  • Learners must have a minimum of C6 in any 3 GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English, or its equivalent (i.e. WSQ Work Place Literacy and Numeracy Skills Level 5)
  • For learners who do not meet the minimum requirements, an oral interview would be conducted to determine suitability for the course
